DpnI

DpnI is a Restriction Endonuclease purified from an Escherichia coli strain that carries the DpnI gene from Diplococcus pneumoniae. DpnI activity is blocked by overlapping CpG methylation. NZYtech’s DpnI is an enzyme that acts at 37 °C.

Restriction enzymes are used to recognize a specific sequence of nucleotides and cut double stranded DNA into smaller fragments at a specific location. Each restriction enzyme recognises different DNA sequences.

DpnI is a Restriction Endonuclease purified from an Escherichia coli strain that carries the DpnI gene from Diplococcus pneumoniae. DpnI activity is blocked by overlapping CpG methylation. The optimum reaction temperature is at 37 °C.

Concentration: 10000 U/mL

Reaction Buffer: The enzyme is provided with two buffers: a specific buffe – NZYBuffer C, optimized for routine single-enzyme digestion, and NZYBuffer U, a universal buffer suitable for multi-enzyme digestions and ready for direct agarose gel loading.
This dual-buffer system offers convenience and flexibility, ensuring maximal specificity and allowing customers to choose the most appropriate buffer for their experimental setup. For single-enzyme digestions using NZYBuffer C, NZYBuffer U can also be utilized as a loading buffer at a 1x concentration.
