Speedy BglII is a in ultra-fast version of the conventional BglII restriction endonuclease. NZYtech’s Speedy restriction enzymes represent a new generation of DNA-modifying enzymes designed for rapid DNA digestion, thereby saving time and effort.

These enzymes recognize and cut double-stranded DNA at the specific nucleotide sequence displayed above within 5-15 minutes using the provided reaction buffers. The abbreviated incubation period is advantageous for mitigating star activity, ensuring high specificity and efficiency in your molecular biology workflows.

Speedy BglII activity is not blocked by overlapping dam methylation as well as by dcm and CpG methylations.

Concentration: One μL of enzyme can completely digest up to 1 μg of DNA in 5-15 min.

Reaction Buffer: The enzyme is provided with two buffers: a specific buffe – NZYBuffer F, optimized for routine single-enzyme digestion, and NZYBuffer U, a universal buffer suitable for multi-enzyme digestions and ready for direct agarose gel loading.

This dual-buffer system offers convenience and flexibility, ensuring maximal specificity and allowing customers to choose the most appropriate buffer for their experimental setup. For single-enzyme digestions using NZYBuffer F, NZYBuffer U can also be utilized as a loading buffer at a 1x concentration.
